Aileen Ramos

Aileen Ramos is a seasoned marketing professional with over 20 years of experience in customer service and more than a decade in the hospitality industry. She began her career in the Consumer Products department at 3M Mexico, where she quickly rose to prominence. A few years later, she was selected for the company’s High Potential Employees program, leading projects as the liaison with key retail chains.

She then embraced a new challenge at Nortel Networks, where she successfully transitioned the Maintenance Contract Team from Boston, Massachusetts, to Mexico City. In this role, she managed global Customer Service Teams as the Global Customer Service Manager.

In 2010, Mrs. Ramos joined the Laredo Convention & Visitors Bureau (LCVB) as Marketing & Convention Sales Manager, where she played a key role in promoting Laredo as a premier convention destination in Mexico. Since 2018, she has led the dynamic team at LCVB, where she continues to advocate for the community and raise awareness of its unique offerings.

Mrs. Ramos holds a B.A. in Business and Marketing from Universidad Panamericana in Mexico City and a Master’s in Tourism Management with a focus on sustainable tourism from Colorado State University. She is a Certified Government Meeting Professional (CGMP) from the Society of Government Meeting Professionals, a Certified Tourism Executive (CTE) from the Texas Travel Alliance, and a Certified Public Manager (CPM) through the State of Texas. Additionally, she holds the Texas Destination Marketer designation from the Texas Association of Convention and Visitors Bureaus.

Currently, Mrs. Ramos serves on the Board of Directors for the Texas Travel Alliance.
