DMS GENERAL QUESTIONS

To make our educational certification more meaningful and marketable for you as tourism professionals.

Through DMS we will:

    • Elevate our educational program by ensuring a consistent professional development model and adding processes to evaluate student participation
    • We have developed a curriculum of core topics within the tourism industry that provides a more actionable education program
    • Simplify the process of earning the certification and managing it

If the review team feels your answers need more explanation, they will reach out to you so that you can expand on your answer.
We still wanted to be able to showcase our destinations but wanted to make it feasible to complete the program in a timely manner.

We removed transfer credit opportunities in an effort to maintain a curriculum and the integrity of the new certification.
In order to simplify the process, we have removed this credit option for the new program. We wanted to ensure we maintained the integrity of the education in this new certification.
