Position Overview:   
The Content Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the creation, curation, and distribution of engaging content across multiple platforms. This role will ensure that content is aligned with the organization's voice, goals, and target audience. The Content Manager will collaborate with various teams to develop content strategies, manage projects, and analyze the performance of content campaigns. Additionally, they will supervise and mentor content creators within the team to maintain high-quality standards and achieve communication objectives.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Social Media Content 80%   
•Execute and manage all digital media campaigns by building and trafficking all ads and monitoring performance. 
•Analyze campaign performance and ensure all campaigns are aligned to overall strategy and optimized to our key performance indicators. 
•Explore opportunities within artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance digital media strategies and performance. 
•Coordinate content strategy calendar and distribution of videos and social media posts under the direction of the Director of Public Relations & Content Strategy.
•Create innovative social media content that increases engagement with travelers 
•Responsible for reporting on social media analytics monthly. 
•Responsible for communication of campaign performance. Manage creative and content testing and report out on results when applicable.   
•Write, film, and edit engaging content for social media for the Visit Fort Worth, Herd and Fort Worth Sports accounts.
•Create graphics for social media and social media videos as assigned.
•Research industry trends and news and incorporates relevant information into social media content. 
•Coordinate engaging online promotions/sweepstakes on FortWorth.com and across social media channels as assigned. 
•Understand social media strategy, brand voice, and brand guidelines and communicate with our audience efficiently across platforms.  

Public Relations Support 20% 
•Draft and distribute daily news alerts to staff  
•Draft media and FAM itineraries as assigned. 
•Manage list of media pitch content including new restaurant openings, new attractions, personalities, and other relevant destination updates.  
•Manage Crowdriff photo gallery including uploading new photos to gallery, deleting outdated photos and taking coverage photos as assigned  
•Manage the Visit Fort Worth Digital Marketing assets including organizing all documents, photography and audio/video files and uploading selections to the website/CRM/shared drive. 
•Assist in formatting of blog content as needed.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: 

Education:  Equivalent to a Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in Communications, Marketing, Web Marketing, Content Strategy, Advertising and Content Production coursework. Agency experience is a plus. 

Experience:  Minimum of two years’ experience in content strategy, communications or social media.  

Special Skills: Skilled at website management (CMS and CRM), video production and editing, content strategy and development, English usage, spelling, grammar, and punctuation. Some desktop publishing, including writing and simple design may be required. PC and Internet knowledge & understanding/experience in e-marketing is necessary. Well versed in social media platforms and a plus to be familiar with trends happening across platforms. Knowledge in SEO is a plus. Ability to develop and write effectively and communicate concisely – both verbally and in writing – is required. Experience with video editing software, iPhone video, video/camera, Adobe, Photoshop and/or other design software is preferred. 


PHYSICAL DEMANDS: 
Constant sitting, occasional standing, occasional walking, occasional lifting up to 25 pounds and noise levels are normally moderate in the office.
