Texas Trailblazer Award
The TACVB Texas Trailblazer Award is presented to an individual that has made a significant contribution to the Texas Tourism industry in a short amount of time and exhibits innovation, strategic thinking, service, involvement, commitment, and leadership.
This recipient has demonstrated outstanding or “breakout” achievements and contributions in a relatively short period of time. Through their strong commitment to the industry, TACVB relies on this person to help shape the future of the organization.
Eligibility
Must be a TACVB member in good standing.
Award Criteria
- The individual regularly brings innovative ideas to the tourism industry and his/her organization.
- Exemplifies an innovative spirit and a growth mindset.
- Regularly participates in and leads industry initiatives such as task forces, committees, special events, or in other volunteer roles.
- Is a leader among his/her peers, leading by example and consistently lending his/her time and talents where needed.

Nominations for the 2025 Texas Trailblazer Award are open! We've simplified both the nomination form and process this year and no essay is required. Deadline to nominate is Friday, April 11th.
